"Between 07:00 Moscow time (04:00 GMT) and 09:00 Moscow time, 43 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles of a fixed-wing type were intercepted and destroyed by air defence systems on duty," the ministry said in a statement.
They were shot down over the territories of the Bryansk, Kursk, Kaluga, Smolensk, Tula, Volgograd and Voronezh regions, as well as the Republic of Adygea and the Moscow region
