Sputnik Begins Cooperation With Indian Think Tank

The Sputnik news agency and radio broadcaster has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Indian research center Visvaniti Foundation.
The document was signed by Sputnik’s Director for International Cooperation, Vasily Pushkov, and the Director of the Visvaniti Foundation, Muzaffar Ahmad Bajwa. The memorandum of understanding is the first cooperation agreement between Sputnik and an Indian analytical center. Further partnership between the parties will focus on developing professional ties and exchanging information in the field of expert dialogue.
Muzaffar Ahmad Bajwa emphasized during the signing ceremony: "We highly value the opportunity to cooperate with Sputnik and are confident that this partnership will become an important step in developing and expanding international dialogue. The signed memorandum strengthens humanitarian and information ties between India and Russia, and also opens new prospects for joint initiatives of the Global South countries."
"Signing the memorandum with the Visvaniti Foundation opens new opportunities for deepening cooperation with India’s academic and expert community. We see significant potential in joint educational and analytical projects, especially in the context of the transformation of the global media landscape, where the countries of the Global South are playing an increasingly prominent role," noted Vasily Pushkov.
The Visvaniti Foundation is an Indian research center specializing in analytical studies and the development of international expert dialogue.
