"During the past night, from 20:00 Moscow time [17:00 GMT] on 12 May this year to 07:00 Moscow time on 13 May this year, air defence alert systems intercepted and destroyed 286 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles," the ministry said in a statement.According to the statement, the drones were shot down over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk, Rostov, Tambov, Yaroslavl, Oryol, Tula, Kaluga, Ryazan and Astrakhan regions, the Krasnodar Territory, the Kalmykia Republic, the Republic of Crimea, as well as over the Azov and Black Seas.

The Russian air defence intercepted and destroyed 286 Ukrainian drones over Russian regions and the Black and Azov Seas overnight, the Russian Defence Ministry said on Wednesday.
"During the past night, from 20:00 Moscow time [17:00 GMT] on 12 May this year to 07:00 Moscow time on 13 May this year, air defence alert systems intercepted and destroyed 286 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles," the ministry said in a statement.
