Russia, China Decry Outside Influence Undermining Equal Cooperation in Eurasia: Statement
17:23 20.05.2026 (Updated: 18:59 20.05.2026) Russia and China strongly condemn attempts by external power dictate aimed at undermining the processes of equal cooperation in Eurasia, according to a joint statement issued by the two countries on Wednesday.
A joint statement by Russia and China on further strengthening comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation in deepening good-neighborly, friendly and cooperative ties has been published on the Kremlin’s website.
"The parties strongly condemn any attempts at external power dictate intended to undermine the processes of consolidation and implementation of equal cooperation in Eurasia," the statement read.
China highly appreciates the initiative put forward by Russia to establish an
equal and indivisible Eurasian security architecture, it said.
