"During the past night, from 20:00 Moscow time [17:00 GMT] on 19 May to 07:00 on 20 May, air defence systems intercepted and destroyed 273 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles," the ministry said in a statement.The drones were reportedly shot down over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Volgograd, Kaluga, Kursk, Lipetsk, Leningrad, Nizhny Novgorod, Novgorod, Oryol, Rostov, Smolensk, Tver, and Tula Regions; the Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories; the Republic of Crimea; the Republic of Tatarstan; the Moscow region; as well as the Azov and Black Seas.

The Russian air defence shot down 273 Ukrainian drones over Russian regions and the Black and Azov Seas last night, the Russian Defence Ministry said on Wednesday.
"During the past night, from 20:00 Moscow time [17:00 GMT] on 19 May to 07:00 on 20 May, air defence systems intercepted and destroyed 273 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles," the ministry said in a statement.
