The Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague rejected Ukraine's claims challenging Russia's sovereignty over Crimea's adjacent waters, denied demands for compensation and control over hydrocarbon and fishing resources, and refused requests to declare the Kerch Strait an international waterway, Russia's Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The tribunal also dismissed Ukraine's demand to dismantle the Crimean Bridge and found allegations that it unlawfully obstructed navigation to be unsubstantiated.
The ruling marks one of the most significant legal decisions related to the maritime dispute between Russia and Ukraine.
