Trump Confirmed to Putin US Interest in Ukraine Crisis Settlement: Lavrov
US President Donald Trump confirmed in a conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin that the United States are interested in finding a solution to the crisis in Ukraine, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Monday.
"Yesterday, there was a telephone conversation between President Putin and President Trump, they discussed this topic. In general, President Trump has confirmed that he is interested in promoting and seeking a just solution, a long-term solution to the Ukrainian crisis," Lavrov told reporters after a meeting with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
