Israeli Strikes Kill 28 in Lebanon in One Day: Health Ministry
The death toll from Israeli attacks on Lebanon has risen by 28, reaching 3,826 since the escalation began on March 2, the Lebanese Health Ministry said on Tuesday.
"The total number of victims of the aggression from March 2 to June 16 stands at 3,826 killed and 11,851 wounded," the statement read.
On Monday, the Lebanese Health Ministry reported 3,798 killed and 11,781 wounded from Israeli attacks.
The situation in southern Lebanon remains tense despite the announcement of a memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran, which Tehran says guarantees an end to fighting in Lebanon.
