One civilian was killed and a woman was injured in a Ukrainian drone attack on Russia’s Bryansk Region, Bryansk Governor Yegor Kovalchuk said on Saturday.
"The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked Suzemka with FPV drones. One civilian was killed, and a woman sustained injuries. The victim was promptly taken to hospital, where she received medical assistance," Kovalchuk said.
The family of the deceased would receive all necessary support, the governor added.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Russian troops were advancing across the entire frontline. According to him, Ukraine was unable to withstand this pressure and was therefore resorting to "openly terrorist methods" targeting civilian infrastructure, communications facilities, and passenger transport.
