Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko and Russian President Vladimir Putin are holding a meeting at Valdai in a one-on-one format, the Belta news agency reported on Friday.
The leaders are meeting at Putin's residence in Valdai, the news agency reported.
The negotiating agenda includes topical issues of bilateral cooperation in various fields, the implementation of joint projects. The focus is also on international issues and the situation in the region, the news agency added.
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko discuss the Union State's agenda, trade and economic cooperation, and regional security issues at a meeting in Valdai, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday.
"President Putin is currently meeting with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko at his residence in Valdai," Peskov told reporters, adding that "the heads of state are discussing the Union State's agenda, various issues of trade and economic cooperation, the implementation of joint economic projects, and issues related to regional security."
