In response to Ukraine’s attacks on civilian targets in Russia, Russian forces carried out six strikes on facilities of Ukraine’s defence-industrial complex over the past week, the Ministry stressed.Particularly, 10 Flamingo cruise missiles, 4,975 UAVs, 72 guided aerial bombs, and 36 HIMARS rockets were downed, it added.Meanwhile, Ukraine lost over 3,060 troops in combat against Russia's Vostok (East) battlegroup over the past week, in addition to losses in manpower and equipment on other fronts, according to the MoD.This is in addition to over 1,380 Ukrainian soldiers eliminated over the past day by Russia's Sever (North) battlegroup, over 2,290 by the Tsentr (Center) battlegroup, over 1,490 by the Zapad (West) battlegroup, over 1,310 by the Yug (South) battlegroup, and over 410 by the Dnepr battlegroup, the ministry highlighted.

14:59 10.07.2026 (Updated: 15:12 10.07.2026) Russian air defence forces destroyed about 5,000 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over the past seven days, the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) has reported.
In response to Ukraine’s attacks on civilian targets in Russia, Russian forces carried out six strikes on facilities of Ukraine’s defence-industrial complex over the past week, the Ministry stressed.
Particularly, 10 Flamingo cruise missiles, 4,975 UAVs, 72 guided aerial bombs, and 36 HIMARS rockets were downed, it added.
"Air defence systems shot down 72 guided aerial bombs, 36 US-made HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems, four Vampire multiple launch rocket systems made in the Czech Republic, 10 Flamingo land-based cruise missiles, three Neptune-MD long-range guided missiles, as well as 4,975 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles," the statement read.
Meanwhile, Ukraine lost over 3,060 troops in combat against Russia's Vostok (East) battlegroup over the past week, in addition to losses in manpower and equipment on other fronts, according to the MoD.
"The losses of the Ukrainian armed formations in the area of responsibility of the Vostok group of forces amounted to more than 3,060 military personnel, 22 armored combat vehicles, 52 vehicles and three field artillery guns," the ministry stated.
This is in addition to over 1,380 Ukrainian soldiers eliminated over the past day by Russia's Sever (North) battlegroup, over 2,290 by the Tsentr (Center) battlegroup, over 1,490 by the Zapad (West) battlegroup, over 1,310 by the Yug (South) battlegroup, and over 410 by the Dnepr battlegroup, the ministry highlighted.
