Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova on Saturday called Palantir Technologies, a US corporation that specializes in making AI-driven software platforms for the military, one of the greatest threats to the modern world.
Palantir CEO Alex Karp wrote in his book, "The Technological Republic," and in Palantir's manifesto, that "the postwar castration of Germany and Japan must be undone" and that Europe "is paying a high price" for disarming Hitler's Third Reich.
"We will never tire of repeating: Palantir is one of the greatest threats to the modern world," Zakharova wrote on her Telegram channel.
She noted that the corporation has been directly involved in numerous armed conflicts abroad, and that the technologies it provides to the armies of Western countries are being used, among other places, in the Ukrainian conflict.
"Because the main thing Palantir profits from is killings in armed conflicts," Zakharova stressed.
According to Zakharova, the ideology promoted by Palantir's leaders is as dangerous as the technologies Palantir provides.
"A giant military corporation with contracts and connections in defense ministries and health ministries of Western countries, run by open fascists," she added.
Such rapid remilitarization of fascism is, in Zakharova's view, a natural consequence of the overarching Western racist, colonial mentality that dictates that there are better nations and unworthy cultures that must be destroyed.
But what is even more frightening, she said, is the 100% tolerance of the Western community and the descendants of Holocaust victims toward the neo-Nazi "narrative" voiced by Karp: not a single call for cancellation, not a single official voice appealing to historical memory, not a single sanction.
"After all, this is not Tchaikovsky," she concluded.
