Russian armed forces on Sunday launched a massive strike on military facilities and logistics centers in Kiev and the surrounding region overnight, the Russian Ministry of Defence said.
"Tonight, the Russian armed forces launched a massive strike using air- and ground-based precision weapons and attack drones against military-industrial complexes and logistics centers in Kiev and the Kiev region," the statement read.
Kiev electronics industry facilities involved in the production of Flamingo cruise missiles were also damaged, it added.
"The Kiev aggregate and component enterprise of the electronics industry (OOO Radioniks), which produces guidance systems for FP-5 Flamingo cruise missiles, FP-7 and -9 operational-tactical missiles, Neptune-MD guided missiles, and an analogue of the S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles (the Clone project)," the statement read, listing the facilities that came under attack.
Earlier, facilities at Yuzhny Port in Odessa region, where military cargo, fuel and lubricants for the Ukrainian forces were delivered and stored, were damaged as a result of a massive Russian strike, the MoD said.

"Tonight, the Russian armed forces launched a massive strike... on infrastructure facilities at Yuzhny Port in Odessa region, used for the delivery and storage of military cargo, as well as fuel and lubricants intended for the Ukrainian forces," the statement read.
