Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and India's External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar agreed to maintain close political dialogue and strengthen coordination in key international forums during talks in Manila on the sidelines of ASEAN meetings, Russia's Foreign Ministry said.
The ministers reviewed the schedule of upcoming high-level political contacts, discussed the main areas of bilateral cooperation, and exchanged views on pressing regional and global issues.
Both sides agreed to continue their trusted dialogue at all levels and enhance coordination on Russia–India cooperation across major international platforms, according to the ministry.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of ASEAN-related multilateral events in the Philippine capital.
