"During the past night, from 20:00 Moscow time [17:00 GMT] on July 22 to 8:00 Moscow time on July 23, the air defense forces on duty intercepted and destroyed 223 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles of an airplane type," the ministry said in a statement.They were shot down over the territories of Belgorod, Bryansk, Volgograd, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Oryol, Orenburg, Rostov, Ryazan, Samara, Saratov, Tver, Tula, Ulyanovsk regions, the Moscow Region, the Republic of Crimea, the Republic of Tatarstan, and over the Sea of Azov, the ministry said.

"During the past night, from 20:00 Moscow time [17:00 GMT] on July 22 to 8:00 Moscow time on July 23, the air defense forces on duty intercepted and destroyed 223 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles of an airplane type," the ministry said in a statement.
