"During the night, 571 Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted and destroyed by air defence systems on duty," the ministry said in a statement.The drones were shot down over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Vladimir, Kaluga, Kursk, Leningrad, Novgorod, Oryol, Pskov, Ryazan, Smolensk, Tver and Tula regions, as well as the Moscow Region, Krasnodar Territory and the Republic of Crimea. Others were destroyed over the waters of the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea.

Russian air defence forces destroyed 571 Ukrainian drones over the country overnight, the Russian Defence Ministry said on Friday.
