"Units of the Vostok group of forces advanced deep into the enemy's defenses and liberated the settlement of Lyubitskoye in the Zaporozhye region," the ministry said.The liberation of Lyubitskoye has allowed Vostok battlegroup units to expand their foothold on the eastern bank of the Verkhnyaya Tersa River, creating conditions for further advances in the Zaporozhye Region, the ministry added.

Units of Russia's Vostok (East) battlegroup has taken control of Lyubitskoye settlement in the Zaporozhye Region, the Russian Defence Ministry said on Saturday.

"Units of the Vostok group of forces advanced deep into the enemy's defenses and liberated the settlement of Lyubitskoye in the Zaporozhye region," the ministry said.
