At least 15 people have been killed, and another 51 injured as a result of Ukrainian armed forces strikes on Energodar, the satellite city of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP), since April 27, Russian state nuclear corporation Rosatom CEO Alexey Likhachev said on Sunday.
"A total of 15 residents have been killed and 51 injured since April 27, when the escalation around Energodar began," Likhachev told reporters.
Radiation Level at ZNPP Remains Within Natural Levels After Ukrainian Strike
The Zaporozhye (Zaporizhzhia) Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) said on Sunday that it continues to monitor all safety parameters following a Ukrainian drone strike, with radiation levels remaining at a normal level.
