Cuba wants to develop the railway transport together with Russia, Cuban First Deputy Transport Minister Luis Roberto Hernandez said on Monday.
"70% of the rolling stock in our country is of Russian origin, and we are extremely interested in developing various projects [in this area with Russia]," Hernandez said at the International Transport Summit in Moscow.
The International Transport Summit is the largest expert platform that unites the heads of megacities, leaders of the transport industry and recognized experts in the field of transport technology and industry. The summit discusses urban development strategies, solutions to pressing transport challenges, and strengthens international cooperation in the transport and industrial sectors.
