"During the past night, from 20:00 Moscow time [17:00 GMT] on August 6 to 8:00 Moscow time on August 7, air defense forces on duty intercepted and destroyed 203 Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles over the territories of the Belgorod, Bryansk, Volgograd, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Lipetsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov, Ryazan, Saratov, Sverdlovsk, Tula regions, the Krasnodar Territory, the Perm Territory, the Republic of Crimea, the Republic of Tatarstan, the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Black Sea," the ministry said in a statement.Russian President Vladimir Putin had previously noted that Ukrainian forces are sending hundreds of drones to strike Russian territory.He emphasised that the Kiev regime is deliberately targeting civilians in the regions, attacking civilian infrastructure and transport, including ambulances and agricultural machinery. The head of state described the methods used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces and Kiev's foreign mercenaries as terrorist.
