The United Arab Emirates' non-oil trade with BRICS countries grew 28.5% in 2025 to $312 billion, UAE Foreign Trade Minister Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi said on Saturday.
"The UAE's non-oil trade with BRICS nations surpassed $312 billion in 2025, up 28.5% year-on-year and representing 31% of our total non-oil trade," Al Zeyoudi wrote on X following a BRICS ministerial meeting in the Indian city of Jaipur.
The UAE minister described BRICS as a vital platform for practical economic cooperation. He estimated that BRICS countries accounted for 34% of the UAE's imports, 23% of its non-oil exports and 28% of re-exports.
