He said Indian digital trading companies and retailers could explore opportunities to establish platforms for selling Indian goods directly to Russian consumers.With cultural events, business discussions and a BRICS related meeting planned, Kotwani said India Day in Moscow is intended to serve not only as a celebration of Indian culture but also as a platform for expanding business, educational and social cooperation between India and Russia.

Representatives from 92 regions of Russia and all Indian states are expected to be part of the event. Kotwani also said a BRICS meeting will be held during India Day, adding a business and international cooperation dimension to the cultural programme.

“Russia is not a one day business or one order market. Russia is a long term business strategy. If you go for the long term, you can find the right buyers,” Kotwani said.
