Russia Launches Overnight Strikes on Ukrainian Military Bases
Russian forces launched overnight strikes on sites linked to Ukraine’s military in Kiev and the Kiev region, Russia’s Defense Ministry said on Saturday.
"At night, the Russian armed forces, using ground-launched precision weapons and long-range unmanned aerial vehicles, attacked a transport infrastructure facility and a logistics center in Kiev and the Kiev region," the statement said.
The statement said the joint attack targeted Kiev's Darnitsa depot, where locomotives used to transport equipment for the Ukrainian Armed Forces were maintained.
