16:01 29.08.2026 (Updated: 16:30 29.08.2026) Russian forces have taken control of the village of Khrapovshchina in the Sumy Region, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Saturday.
"Units of the Sever [North] group of forces took control of the settlement of Khrapovshchina in the Sumy Region as a result of decisive operations," the ministry said in a statement.
Meanwhile, Russia's Tsentr (Center) battlegroup has liberated the city of Rubezhnoye and the village of Novoandreyevka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), the MoD said.
"As a result of decisive actions, units of the Tsentr battlegroup liberated the settlements of Rubezhnoye and Novoandreyevka in the Donetsk People's Republic," the ministry highlighted.

"The losses of the Ukrainian armed formations amounted to up to 395 military personnel, an armored fighting vehicle and seven motor vehicles," the ministry emphasised.
