The member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) support the reform of the international financial architecture, including strengthening the role of developing countries in the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the declaration following the Bishkek summit said on Tuesday.
"The member states support the reform of the international financial architecture aimed at increasing the representation and strengthening the role of developing countries in the governing bodies of international financial institutions, including the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the International Monetary Fund," the document read, as quoted by the Kremlin.
The SCO member states noted the continuing difficult international situation caused by conflicts and various challenges.
"The difficult international situation, caused by ongoing conflicts, energy and food challenges, instability of global markets and climate change, persists," the document said.

SCO Countries Support Expansion of Mutually Beneficial Energy Cooperation

The member states of the SCO support the expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of energy.
