Moscow Industrialists Discuss Partnerships at INNOPROM. India

As part of the international industrial exhibition INNOPROM. India, Moscow-based industrial companies showcased high-tech solutions and held talks with potential partners, said Polina Pavlova, an adviser to the Moscow Government Minister.
She added that during the meetings, the Indian side expressed interest in localising production facilities in Moscow, as well as in partnership projects focused on technology transfer and workforce development.
The series of meetings began with SRB International, which serves as a key link in trade and industrial relations between India, Russia and the CIS countries.
“On the instructions of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the city is supporting the expansion of trade and economic cooperation with friendly countries. Under the Industrial Development and Export Development Strategy through to 2030, the capital is actively helping businesses enter new markets and supporting joint investment and infrastructure projects. India is one of Moscow’s strategic partners. During the business meetings at INNOPROM, the Indian side showed strong interest in localising businesses in the Russian capital. There was also a shared desire to cooperate on workforce training and the exchange of expertise to help integrate new technologies and robotic systems into the industrial sector,” said Polina Pavlova.
On the first day of the exhibition, the Moscow delegation discussed potential projects and product promotion with the Indian Chamber of International Business (ICIB).
“The meeting between the Mosprom Centre, the Moscow Government and ICIB at INNOPROM in New Delhi was an important step towards strengthening business cooperation between India and Russia. The discussions focused particularly on localising our manufacturing companies in Moscow and building partnerships across a wide range of industries,” said Manprit Singh, President and Chairman of the Indian Chamber of International Business.
Meetings were also held with representatives of the Engineering Export Promotion Council of India, the Confederation of Indian Industry and Bharat Biotech International Ltd.
Representatives of Indian organisations were given a tour of the Moscow stand, where they were introduced to members of the delegation and their high-tech products. The exhibition features technologies developed by high-tech Moscow companies in the fields of healthcare, robotics, microelectronics and instrumentation.
