Russia, India Ready to Sign Nuclear Cooperation Deals: Rosatom CEO

A number of agreements on nuclear energy cooperation between Russia and India have been finalised and are ready for signing, Alexey Likhachev, CEO of Russian state nuclear corporation Rosatom, said on Friday.

"We have a number of documents with India that are fully finalised and ready for signing," Likhachev told the Russian media.

This includes fourth-generation fast-neutron reactors, Likhachev added.

Russian state nuclear corporation Rosatom's BRICS partners have initiatives for the construction of large and small nuclear power plants (NPPs), CEO Alexey Likhachev said.
"We have new concrete initiatives on the table with almost all partner countries, the BRICS member countries, to increase the number of high-capacity units under construction, to include low-capacity units and research reactors on the agenda," Likhachev told the Russian news agency.
