Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning said on Friday that, at the upcoming summit, the Chinese leader would discuss the international situation and the deepening of cooperation with the leaders of the bloc's member states, as well as present key Chinese initiatives for fostering cooperation within the BRICS framework.Xi's visit to India is scheduled to last two days, during which a meeting with Inian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to take place.Earlier, Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov said that no official meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Chinese president was planned for the BRICS summit in New Delhi, but the leaders might hold brief talks.The 18th BRICS summit in New Delhi will last two days.
