"During the past night from 20:00 Moscow time [17:00 GMT] on September 25 to 08:00 Moscow time [05:00 GMT] on September 26, duty air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 645 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles," the statement read.The ministry specified that the drones were destroyed over the Astrakhan, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Oryol, Rostov, Ryazan and Tula Regions, the Moscow Region, the Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories, Crimea and the waters of the Black and Azov Seas.

12:14 26.09.2026 (Updated: 12:15 26.09.2026) Russian air defence systems destroyed 645 unmanned aerial vehicles of the Ukrainian armed forces over Russian territory overnight, the Russian Defence Ministry said on Saturday.
"During the past night from 20:00 Moscow time [17:00 GMT] on September 25 to 08:00 Moscow time [05:00 GMT] on September 26, duty air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 645 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles," the statement read.
The ministry specified that the drones were destroyed over the Astrakhan, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Oryol, Rostov, Ryazan and Tula Regions, the Moscow Region, the Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories, Crimea and the waters of the Black and Azov Seas.
