Musk Should Build Russia–US Tunnel: Putin’s Envoy
Head of Russia’s sovereign wealth fund RDIF and the president’s special envoy for international economic cooperation, Kirill Dmitriev, urged Elon Musk’s Boring Company to begin construction of a tunnel linking Russia and the US.
“It’s time for The Boring Company to start building the Putin–Trump tunnel, connecting Russia and the US, Eurasia and the American continent,” Dmitriev wrote on X.
He also shared a possible route map in his post, showing how the tunnel could run beneath the Bering Strait, which separates Russia from Alaska in the United States.
