The US defence industry is rapidly increasing the pace of assembly of heavy, stealth cruise missiles to enhance the the country's conventional strike capability, Russia's Roscongress Foundation said in a fresh report released on Tuesday.
Along with deploying affordable long‑range missiles, the traditional leaders of the US defence industry complex — RTX and Lockheed Martin — as well as their key subcontractor Williams International, are implementing the largest capacity‑expansion programme in their history, the report read.
"This step is aimed at accelerating the assembly of heavy, stealth cruise missiles to enhance the US strike capability at the conventional level," the report added.
