Russia Seeks Closer Coordination With Afghanistan on Counterterrorism: Foreign Ministry
Russia will expand its partnership with Afghanistan when it comes to counterterrorism and anti-drug operations, as well as in the defense, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Wednesday.
"Our country will consistently expand its partnership with Kabul in counter-terrorism, anti-narcotics and defense, based on the understanding that countering the threats facing the region is a shared task. Addressing this challenge requires constructive cooperation and the consolidation of the collective efforts of all interested nations," Zakharova told a briefing.
