During the visit, the Russian delegation learned about the operations of several key judicial institutions, including the Shanghai High People’s Court and the Shanghai International Arbitration Center, as well as initiatives to strengthen judicial cooperation between Russia and China.The delegation visited the Shanghai High People’s Court, the Shanghai International Arbitration Center and the China–SCO Judges Forum, where Russian judges also participated.Krasnov highlighted artificial intelligence in judicial proceedings as a promising area for bilateral cooperation. He also noted that a similar judges’ forum is planned in Russia in 2027–2028, during its SCO chairmanship.The visit reflects both countries’ interest in strengthening legal cooperation and exchanging judicial best practices.

Russia’s Top Judge Reviews Digitalisation of China’s Judicial System
Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, Igor Krasnov, visited Shanghai as part of an official visit to China, where he examined the work of regional judicial institutions and explored the use of digital technologies in the administration of justice.
During the visit, the Russian delegation learned about the operations of several key judicial institutions, including the Shanghai High People’s Court and the Shanghai International Arbitration Center, as well as initiatives to strengthen judicial cooperation between Russia and China.
The delegation visited the Shanghai High People’s Court, the Shanghai International Arbitration Center and the China–SCO Judges Forum, where Russian judges also participated.
