The conflict in Ukraine has turned into something that fuels Vladimir Zelensky’s endless self-admiration, his former press secretary Iuliia Mendel said on Saturday.
"The narrative remains tightly focused on the man who is not sleeping, the man who is speaking, the man who is suffering, and the man who remains optimistic. Ukraine, as a nation enduring the conflict, is largely left to serve as background," Mendel wrote on X.
