PM Modi Congratulates Lula on Fourth Presidential Term, Vows to Strengthen India-Brazil Ties
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday congratulated Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva on his re-election, expressing his commitment to strengthening the India-Brazil strategic partnership and advancing the shared priorities of the Global South.
"Heartiest congratulations to my dear friend, President Lula, on his remarkable re-election victory. I look forward to working closely with him to further deepen and expand the multifaceted India-Brazil Strategic Partnership," PM Modi wrote on X.
He also emphasised that the two countries would continue to strengthen cooperation across various sectors and work together to advance the common priorities of the Global South.
