The US Federal Aviation Administration told RIA Novosti on Thursday that a Robinson R22 and an Airbus H125 helicopters had collided in the air in the US state of Oregon. There were two people on board one of them and one person on board the other.The people who were on board one of the helicopters were identified as a flight instructor and a student pilot from the United Kingdom, the office said.Federal aviation authorities are currently investigating the incident, the office added.

Three Killed in Midair Helicopter Collision in US State of Oregon: Authorities
Three people were killed in a midair collision between two helicopters in the US state of Oregon, the Yamhill County Sheriff's Office said.
The US Federal Aviation Administration told RIA Novosti on Thursday that a Robinson R22 and an Airbus H125 helicopters had collided in the air in the US state of Oregon. There were two people on board one of them and one person on board the other.
"All three were deceased," the statement read.
The people who were on board one of the helicopters were identified as a flight instructor and a student pilot from the United Kingdom, the office said.
Federal aviation authorities are currently investigating the incident, the office added.
