The mystery of a giant metal cylinder that washed up on a beach near Jurien Bay in Western Australia's Perth city has left everyone baffled and sparked a new investigation.
The Australian police received a call from local residents on Sunday reporting a massive copper-colored cylinder that was found on a beach in a partly damaged state.

Several netizens took to social media and shared videos and photos of the giant metal cylinder.
While some people on the internet speculate that the object could be a piece from the disappeared flight MH370, which vanished during its journey from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing in 2014, others believe it might be debris from ISRO's recent rocket launch - Chandrayaan 3.
The police released a statement and said that a joint investigation is underway to determine the object’s origin and nature.
