Ukraine has lost more than 235 soldiers in the Donetsk direction over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on Tuesday.
Over the given period, the Russian Armed Forces have repelled 11 attacks by Ukrainian troops in the Krasny Lyman direction and eight attacks in the Kupyansk direction.
"Over the past 24 hours, the enemy's losses amounted to more than 235 military personnel, two infantry fighting vehicles and four armoured vehicles," the ministry reported.
In addition, Kiev has lost over 125 soldiers in the Krasny Lyman region in the previous 24 hours, according to the Ministry's statement.
Ukrainian Air Force's Losses
Russian air defense systems have shot down two Ukrainian MiG-29 fighters, one L-39 combat trainer, 44 drones and other targets over the past 24 hours.
"Air defence systems in the areas of the city of Krasnoarmeysk in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and Kanatovo in the Kirovograd region shot down two Ukrainian MiG-29 aircraft. In addition, an L-39 combat trainer aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force was shot down in the area of Olenovka settlement in the Dnepropetrovsk region," the ministry said.
In addition, during the day the Russian air defence intercepted five JDAM guided bombs, five HIMARS MLRS shells and 44 drones in the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
