Congress parliamentarian Rahul Gandhi on Monday gave food to the poor holy men and devotees at the Shri Kedarnath Temple, located in India's Himalayan state of Uttarakhand.
In a video shared by B.V. Srinivas, national president of Indian Youth Congress (youth wing of Congress), holy men were seen queuing up at the temple complex and Gandhi was seen serving food to them while bowing before them to seek their blessings.

Earlier in the wee hours of Monday, he served free tea to those waiting in queues outside the temple.
The devotees were surprised to see such a popular leader in the midst of the public. Several people urged to click selfies with him, a request he didn't turn down.
Later, Gandhi offered prayers at the statue of 8th-century vedic scholar and teacher Adi Shankaracharya.
The Congress politician is likely to stay in Kedarnath town till Tuesday before heading to participate in various public rallies in poll-bound states.
