India's Ministry of Defence (MoD) on Friday revealed the list of weapon platforms that the South Asian country exported in 2023.
Among the military systems India exported to foreign nations this year were BrahMos and Akash missiles, PINAKA Rockets and Launchers, and 155 mm Advanced Towed Artillery Guns.

"Major platforms being exported include Dornier-228, 155 mm Advanced Towed Artillery Guns, Brahmos Missiles, Akash Missile System, Radars, Simulators, Mine Protected Vehicles, Armoured Vehicles, PINAKA Rockets & Launchers, Ammunitions, Thermal Imagers, Body Armours, besides Systems, Line Replaceable Units and Parts & components of Avionics and Small Arms," a statement from the MoD read.
Additionally, the ministry noted a rising demand for India's homegrown fighter jet, LCA Tejas.
"There is growing global demand of LCA-Tejas, Light Combat Helicopters, Aircraft Carrier, MRO activities etc," it added.
As per the MoD, India's defence exports touched an all-time high of INR 16,000 crore ($1.95 billion) in the current financial year.
These figures are $360 million higher than what New Delhi exported during the last fiscal.
