ATOMEXPO 2024 International Forum started in the Russian city of Sochi, which serves as a major exhibition and business platform to discuss the current state and future trends of the nuclear industry.
On the sidelines of the XIII Forum, participants will discuss environmental aspects of the nuclear industry, development of nuclear infrastructure, unique opportunities of research reactors in the implementation of non-energy projects and much more.

I have personally visited Rosatom projects in Turkey, Bangladesh. These are major achievements at the international level, for which I congratulate Rosatom," International Atomic Energy Agency head Rafael Grossi said.
Rosatom is developing innovative new generation reactors, some of them already in operation, the IAEA's focus is on these technology projects aimed at [expanding] the future, Grossi further added.

XIII ATOMEXPO is a record in many ways – in terms of the number of participants, the number of international experts, the number of countries officially sending their delegations to the Forum.
For the first time, Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger and Iraq are participating in ATOMEXPO.
Earlier, Rosatom had reported that representatives from 75 countries have arrived at ATOMEXPO 2024, in total, more than 4.5 thousand people will take part in the forum.
