Delegates from majority-Muslim countries have kicked off the 15th edition of the International Economic Forum "Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum", a business conference in the Russian city of Kazan, featuring an impressive line-up of 120 themed sessions with renowned Russian and foreign experts.
During the forum that will go on until Sunday, representatives from India, Iran, Qatar, Afghanistan, Libya, and many other countries will be discussing several prospects for international cooperation. They topics include:
tourism,
business,
science and technology,
Islamic finance,
investments,
sport
As part of the forum, at least 100 foreign specialists will take part in the Russia Halal Expo at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center, as well as in bilateral business meetings of buyers and distributors of halal products.
The Kazan agro-industrial park will host the international trade fair Kazan Halal Market, where more than 4,500 thousand products from leading manufacturers from across the the Islamic world will be on show.
Experts from various countries will also share their insights on the impact of Islamic finance on the global economy and exploring strategies to further strengthen economic ties between Russia and the Islamic world.
