India-Russia Cooperation Strengthened in All Areas: Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Tuesday that his second visit to Russia in last few months speaks of coordination and strong friendship with Russia, noting that cooperation in all areas strengthened.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed gratitude to Russian President Vladimir Putin for friendship and hospitality in Kazan.
"Let me thank you from the bottom of my heart for your friendship, for your warm and generous hospitality. I am glad that I was lucky enough to come to Kazan, such a beautiful city, to participate in the BRICS summit. India has deep historical ties with this city," Modi said at a meeting with Putin.
The Prime Minister emphasised that his second visit to Russia in last three months reflects strong coordination and friendship, highlighting that cooperation across all areas has deepened.
Many countries of the world want to join our BRICS association today, Modi further stated.

"Today, many countries of the world want to join our association, I look forward to our discussion within the framework of BRICS," Modi highlighted.

Meanwhile, he reassured that India is ready to offer all possible support to resolve the conflict between Russia and Ukraine peacefully.
"We are in regular contact regarding the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine. As I have said before, we believe that problems should be resolved peacefully and we fully support the prompt restoration of peace and stability. In all our efforts, we give priority to humanity, and we are ready to provide any possible assistance in the future," Modi said.
On October 22-24, the BRICS summit will be held in Russia's Kazan with the participation of heads of state, as well as representatives of several international organizations.
