"In recent years, bilateral trade in agricultural products between Russia and India has been growing. In 2024, mutual trade in this segment increased by 63% compared to 2023, reaching $3.6 billion. As a result, Russia became one of the top five suppliers of agricultural products to the Indian market for the first time," Alipov said.
This process is not one-sided, the ambassador said, adding that Indian imports to Russia accounted for over 75% of bilateral trade in the agricultural sector in 2024.
