With India set to host the AI Impact Summit 2026 next month, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said that the country's AI start-ups had the potential to transform society.

"India should present a unique AI model to the world that reflects the spirit of Made in India, Made for the World," the Indian leader said in his Roundtable with Indian AI Start-Ups, according to a statement from the Prime Minister's Office.
