The fifth-generation aircraft have been accepted by technical personnel and have undergone a full cycle of factory testing. Defense Ministry pilots tested the aircraft in various operating modes.
"The Su-57 is a formidable weapon that has proven its effectiveness on the front lines. It has destroyed numerous targets. This fifth-generation system can be used against even the most advanced enemy air defense systems. Today, we have delivered to the troops aircraft that have become even more powerful and dangerous," said Rostec CEO Sergey Chemezov.
The Su-57 multifunctional frontline aviation system is designed to perform a wide range of combat missions. It is capable of engaging air, ground, and sea targets. The aircraft can be used around the clock, including in adverse weather conditions and in challenging jamming environments.
