On Monday, UAE authorities said they had intercepted 12 ballistic missiles and four drones launched from Iran. However, Tehran denied allegations of involvement in attacks on UAE territory.
“Rejecting Abu Dhabi’s allegations of missile and drone launches from Iran towards the UAE, the Iranian Foreign Ministry clarifies that the defensive actions of the Iranian armed forces during this period were aimed solely at eliminating malicious actions by the US,” the ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
The ministry also called on the UAE to renounce complicity in US actions against Iran.
