Syed Fakhar Kakakhel is a Peshawar-based senior journalist, who specializes in covering politics and militancy in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Kakakhel is a multilingual researcher who writes in English, Urdu and Pashto. Recently, he published a book focused on militancy in South Asia and Central Asia. He also worked as researcher on cross-border terrorism, extremism, trade, drug and human trafficking.
