Former Delhi deputy state chief Manish Sisodia is already in jail on charges related to the liquor policy case last month.
India's federal probe agency has landed more charges against former Delhi deputy chief Manish Sisodia.
On March 14, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) registered a new case against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) politician Sisodia on charges of criminal conspiracy, dishonest misappropriation of property, criminal breach of trust by a public servant, forgery for cheating, using as genuine a forged document, falsification of accounts, and criminal misconduct by a public servant.
The probe agency suspects that Delhi's AAP-led government illegally collected political intelligence by setting up a covert unit staffed by 17 employees from the intelligence bureaux and paramilitary forces
