The Pakistan government's official Twitter handle has been blocked in India. The account states that it has been withheld following a "legal demand" by the Government of India.This isn't the first occasion when the Pakistan government's Twitter page has been blocked in India: previously, Twitter disallowed users from accessing Pakistan's account in October and July last year.Before that in June 2022, Twitter in India suspended several other official accounts related to Pakistan, including handles of Pakistani diplomatic missions in Egypt, Turkey, Iran, and the United Nations.In addition to that, the Indian Ministry of Information and Broadcasting blocked a YouTube news channel operating from the neighboring country for spreading "fake, anti-India content" in August.

The Pakistan government's official Twitter handle has been blocked in India.
The account states that it has been withheld following a "legal demand" by the Government of India.
"Account Withheld @GovtofPakistan's account has been withheld in India in response to a legal demand," a notice on the highly influential message app reads, according to Sputnik correspondents based in New Delhi.
This isn't the first occasion when the Pakistan government's Twitter page has been blocked in India: previously, Twitter disallowed users from accessing Pakistan's account in October and July last year.
Before that in June 2022, Twitter in India suspended several other official accounts related to Pakistan, including handles of Pakistani diplomatic missions in Egypt, Turkey, Iran, and the United Nations.
